The Cappuccio family has made sausage using our traditional family recipes for three generations. Although all of our recipes remain a guarded family secret, we will say our sausage's taste is a result of our commitment to using only the freshest local ingredients. Therefore, Cappuccio's will only use meats and ingredients from local farms in the Delaware Valley and, of course, we never use preservatives of any kind in our sausages. Dry-Aged

STEAKS

Dry-aged steaks might be a recent phenomenon for some meat eaters, however, at Cappuccio's they're a family tradition. All of our dry aged steaks rest for a minimum of 28 days at a temperature between 32 and 39 degrees Fahrenheit in a low moisture chamber to reduce the chance of spoilage. This aging process breaks down the connective tissue in large cuts of meat to create a tender, buttery texture while intensifying the beef’s flavor. The result is a steak lovers dream; a large, fatty flavorful cut of steak with the all of the tenderness of filet mignon. Treat yourself to the best steaks money can buy!

In addition to sausage and dry-aged steaks, Cappuccio's also offers a complete line of fresh cut pork, chicken, veal, lamb, goat, and beef. As with all of our products, these cuts of meat come from farms in the Delaware Valley and are butchered on premises with no additives or preservatives. That means you’re guaranteed the highest quality cuts possible each time you shop with us. We also specialize in hard to find cuts of meat and whole animals for traditional holiday meals and gatherings. And of course, if you don't see what you want at Cappuccio's, ask one of our knowledgeable butchers and we'll do everything we can to get it for you.


HERR'S FARM BEEF

Local Black Angus Cattle raised on Philly's own Herr's Potato Chips, create a farm-to-table experience like no other.

Cappuccio’s Meats proudly serves local beef from the Herr’s Family Angus Farm in Chester County, Pennsylvania. This 1,000 acre farm is located minutes from the Herr’s snack food factory and is used to recycle the water, and snack foods that aren’t used by the factory. That’s right, these Herr’s cows are actually fed Herr’s Potato Chips. More specifically, the cows are fed “steer mix” a blend of pretzels, potato chips and other snack foods mixed with the cow’s traditional corn feed. This gives Herr’s beef a unique beefy flavor sought after by meat lovers everywhere. Stop by our store today and give it a try for yourself.
